Customer Review: Awesome Grill Marks!

I bought this grill pan and the 12 inch skillet. The raised ridges are very high, but still conduct heat evenly. Once you understand cast iron cooking, you can turn out incredible steaks, on par with steakhouses. Its all about high-heat even heating. I create the grill marks by using this on the stovetop and then finishing in the oven. PLEASE ALWAYS wear oven mitts when cooking with cast iron.
Interestingly, the Emeril/All-Clad care and seasoning instructions differ from every other source I have consulted. That said, the Emeril/All-Clad care and seasoning instructions seem to work the best for this pan.
